I Serve (2025)
Watercolor on Paper Framed 20.5” x 28.4”
This one is about humility — the kind that lifts everyone around you.
In I Serve, a man is bowed low, gently holding a woman’s foot to wash it. It’s not weakness you’re looking at — it’s strength in its purest form. This moment is a reflection of what Jesus taught: “The greatest among you will be your servant.”
Real leadership isn’t loud. It doesn’t parade itself. It shows up in small, sacred acts — in choosing to serve rather than be served. In this painting, the man isn’t beneath her; he’s beneath his own ego. He’s laid his pride down so love can rise.
To serve is to lead. And when a man humbles himself, when he gives without needing to be praised, he elevates not only the woman he serves, but the entire atmosphere of his home.
I Serve is a call to men — not to dominate, but to demonstrate. To lead by example. To show that real power flows from selflessness, and true presence begins at the feet.
